Every great vision is born from a defining journey. For Olanike Solanke Omolayo, the founder and team lead of Nuevo Interiors Limited, that journey was shaped by resilience, passion, and the unwavering determination to create a life of purpose—for herself, her children, and the clients she serves.

Nike’s path to interior design was not conventional. With a background in Accounting from Yaba College of Technology, Lagos, she initially pursued a stable career, but deep down, she longed for something more—something creative, something that would allow her to shape spaces and experiences. That passion led her to the Dorothy van Riet Design Academy in South Africa, where she honed her skills and embraced the world of interior design.

However, life had other plans. As a single mother raising three children, she faced the challenges of building both a career and a stable home. Every project she took on was not just about design—it was about creating security, beauty, and functionality, lessons she had learned firsthand in her own life. She understood, better than most, the profound impact a well-designed space could have on the people who live and work in it.

Fueled by this vision, Nike founded Nuevo Interiors Limited, not just as a business but as a mission—to craft interiors that blend comfort, value, and pride. Over the years, she has led her team to execute luxury residential, commercial, and hospitality projects across Nigeria, proving that great design is not just about aesthetics but about transforming lives.

Today, Nuevo Interiors stands as a testament to her journey—a company built on resilience, artistry, and the belief that every space should tell a story, just like hers.
